I’m a fully qualified integrative psychotherapist and counsellor. I gained an advanced diploma and Masters degree in integrative psychotherapy and counselling, following a five year professional UKCP accredited training at the Minster Centre. I have undertaken over seven years on my own personal development which I consider to be a fundamental aspect of my work.
I am registered with the UKCP and as such I am bound by its Code of Ethics and subject to its professional complaints procedure. I am also a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I work continuously to develop my work and understanding as a psychotherapist and am particularly interested in neuroscience and trauma. I have additionally trained in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy for Trauma Level 1.
As well as my private practice, I work as a counsellor for the London Ambulance Service. I have also worked as a counsellor and clinical assessor at City and Hackney Mind, in adult education and extensively with refugees and asylum seekers. I am also an associate editor for the online journal Contemporary Psychotherapy.
